Further to the leak of the new Samsung Google Nexus Prime earlier today more screenshots of the new Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich have also been leaked.
The much anticipated Android 4.0 update is expected to be a total revamp that will unite the platform for both smartphones and tablets. And now the update has been leaked in a two-minute video tour that gives us a nice little short preview.
Google’s major new Android update Ice Cream Sandwich will be launched on October 11th thanks to a slip-up by Google who published the date by mistake this morning and then removed it from the Android Developer YouTube channel. Feast your eyes on more screenshots after the jump.
Some of the new features noted by the leak are the following:
1. Blue Theme.
2. Camera has built-in panorama mode.
3. Will launch with Google Shopper and NFC Enabled devices will be able to use those features.
4. Gmail is all rethemed.
5. Will be available for the Nexus S.
6. Nexus Prime gets it first (expected) then other devices will follow.
7. Not too many changes, just UI things, don’t think requirements are set too high for year old devices to run it.
8. The little icon in the bottom right, looks like a tray with multiple apps in it.
9. Google search bar embedded on very top like Honeycomb.
10.Apps/Widgets launcher a lot like Honeycomb.
11.This release is still very early, notice the theming of the power tray.
