Microsoft has brought its OneNote digital notetaking app to Android, OneNote Mobile for Android has similar features and capabilities to its app counterparts on Windows Phone and iOS. The latest cross-platform push from the Windows company as its software teams spread their wares beyond their own PC, gaming and mobility devices. A free download from the Android Market, OneNote allows you to create text and image notes and sync them across to the full Office 2010 version as well as the web-based viewer using SkyDrive storage.
Following is requirement for Microsoft NoteOne for Android OS
1. Must have Android 2.3 or higher.
2. A free Windows Live ID is required to use OneNote Mobile for Android - use an existing ID or let OneNote help you sign up.
3. Web functionality uses the free OneNote Web App available on SkyDrive, which requires a supported web browser.
4. OneNote Mobile for Android opens notebooks created in Microsoft OneNote 2010 or the OneNote Web App.
Following are Features of Microsoft NoteOne:
1. View and edit your MS OneNote notebooks on iPhone, iPad or Android device.
2. You can edit OneNote pages and add new text on a page.
3. Inking feature allows handwriting input and drawing in your notes.
4. You can add, move and delete images on your pages.
5. OneNote tags are supported.
6. Sync two-way with MS OneNote.
7. Your pages look on iPhone (iPad, Android) exactly the same way as in MS OneNote.
8. Format text as you like: change font size, color, create lists.
9. Create audio recordings and play media in your notes.
10. Take text notes and attach pictures to them (Quick Notes).
11. Sync wirelessly, over Wi-Fi or 3G (includes WLAN sync).
Like the iOS version, OneNote Mobile for Android is offered for free from Microsoft, but has a maximum limit of 500 notes. Once you hit the max, you will have to purchase the unlimited version for $4.99 or you will no longer be able to create or edit notes from the Android app. You will, however, still be capable of syncing and viewing the notes you have created on other platforms.
